Texas Gateway

Texas Gateway is an online professional development portal created and supported by the Texas Education Agency. Educators can create their own accounts and find resources regarding TEKS revisions, Work Based Learning, CTE 101 and many more titles.

The Texas Register for Educator Certification will reference Texas Gateway courses specifically designed for teachers who are assigned to courses that satisify core credit. "Teachers shall participate in Texas Education Agency-approved training prior to teaching this course effective with the 2019-2020 school year."

Another reference found, is specific to the Work Based Learning course, "the school district is responsible for ensuring that each teacher assigned to Career Preparation and Practicums has completed appropriate training in state and federal requirements regarding work-based learning and safety."
