SCHOOL SAFETY AUDITS
This Legislative action requires that all Texas school districts conduct a safety and security audit of all district facilities, every three years and report these findings to the District Board of Trustees. Our next round of audits is due August 31, 2020.
New Deadline for School District Safety & Security Audits:
- TxSSC has requested and recieved a waiver/suspension from the Office of the Governor to extend the audit deadline from August 31 ,2020 to October 31st, 2020.
- The reporting deadline for the DAR (District Audit Report) of September 15, 2020 is now extended to November 15, 2020.
