•  The Migrant Education Program (MEP) at Region 15
For over 30 years, the USDE Office of Migrant Education has provided funds for supplemental academic and supportive services to the children of families who migrate to find work in the agricultural and fishing industries.
The Migrant Education Program (MEP) addresses the educational needs of farm worker children who move with their families to harvest the fruits and vegetables that help feed our nation. The MEP ensures that all migratory children who move among the states are not penalized in any manner by disparities among states in curriculum, graduation requirements or state academic content and student academic achievement standards.
  • Region 15 Migrant Program Goal

The Migrant Education Program (MEP) is a program that serves the unique educational and support needs of migrant students and their families. The migrant program helps students succeed in school and transition to postsecondary education and/or employment.
