TxCan (Low Incidence Disabilities)
Region 15 serves professionals and families working with children with Low Incidence Disabilities in school, home, and community settings. Staff development and technical assistance is available to support districts and families in developing programs that lead to success for the child with Low Incidence Disabilities. Workshops are designed to address the full spectrum of needs of both the district and students. On-site assistance is provided at schools, in homes, and in community settings to implement programs to insure success for all children. Region 15 also provides support with state compliance and legal issues, in-home and parent training, and extended educational year programming. These resources support all educators with more knowledge on providing connection, access, and increased opportunities for all learners.
