Deaf Education/Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD)
About Us
Deaf Education/Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services
ESC Region 15 provides resources and training to teachers who serve students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing from birth to 21 years of age. These teachers serve those who are significantly impacted through the development of language and/or performance in school.
The Region 15 Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD)
Region 15 RDSPD consists of 4 cluster sites: Brownwood ISD, San Angelo ISD, San Felipe Del Rio CISD, and Small Schools Coop.
The mission of ESC 15 Regional Day School Program for the Deaf is to increase educational achievement of students who are deaf and hard of hearing. We provide support and assistance to parents of children who have a hearing loss, and work closely with professionals serving these students. Our goal is to create a network that meets the needs of these students so that after graduation, they may enroll in post-secondary education or acquire employment in a competitive field. Our goal is to help them grow into self-sufficient adults, learning to function on their own.
