Texas School Ready is a comprehensive preschool teacher training program that combines research-based coaching, ongoing professional development, child progress monitoring, classroom materials, and a full set of CIRCLE Pre-K curriculum.  The goal of this project is to help children become better prepared for school by learning through developmentally appropriate practices their teachers learn during eCIRCLE and utilize in the classroom.  This combined approach to teaching in early childhood helps participating teachers in Region 15 meet TEA's priority of helping our children become Kindergarten ready.    

Texas School Ready Highlights:

  • 3-Year Project designed to specifically support Head Start and Child Care classroom teachers by providing:
    • Curriculum
    • Coaching
    • Training in Best Practices (counts toward required training hours set forth by Minimum Standards)
    • Incentive pay at the end of each year of participation!
  • The TSR Project is available for teachers who work with:
    • Infants
    • Toddlers
    • Three-Year-Olds
    • Pre-K students
