CTE Teacher Certification

There can be confusion around exactly what is a CTE teacher certification. You will not find a "CTE" Certification, but rather certifications  that represent the different CTE program areas. The Texas Education Agency issues nine Career and Technical Education certificates (TEA Certification Chart).

Please note:

Each certification, with exception to T&I. require the teacher to also take the PPR 160.

Tests 270. 273 and 275 require a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
