Parents
PARENTS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR PROGRAM. WE ENCOURAGE YOUR PARTICIPATION.
Our teachers and/or family service worker's make two home visits and two parent teacher conferences per program year. During these visits we encourage you to help build goals for you and your child. We make our first home visit within the first 45 days that the child enters the program.
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Region 14 and Region 15 Head Start recognizes that children are not meant to:
- be quiet learners;
- stay clean at all times;
- spend lengthy periods of time standing in lines, being still or with nothing to do; or
- stay seated with their hands in their laps.
