Region 15 strives to provide technical assistance to assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the diagnosis of speech and language impairments and the provision of services based on current research, within the framework of federal and state regulations. Technical assistance is provided for individuals who work with students who have speech-language disorders and their parents at no cost.
Technical assistance may include the following:
- Current information on evidence-based practices and innovative programs
- Evaluation
- Current research
- Service-delivery models
- Certification and licensure
- Rules and regulations
